Suicidal Tendencies Bio
Formed in Venice, California, in 1980, Suicidal Tendencies helped shape the crossover thrash sound by combining the speed and aggression of hardcore punk with the force of metal. The band's history spans generations of listeners, with frontman Mike Muir remaining its defining voice. Their best-known songs include “Institutionalized,” “You Can't Bring Me Down” and “Possessed to Skate,” while the self-titled debut and Join the Army are landmark releases in the group's catalog.
The band's energetic live approach suits a multi-artist bill featuring heavy acts such as Down and Lamb Of God. The supplied event information identifies this Terminal 5 appearance but does not establish earlier Suicidal Tendencies dates at the venue, so no previous venue history is assumed. In New York, the group's punk-and-metal legacy connects naturally with the city's long-running appetite for intense, boundary-crossing live music.
Venue and Seating Information
Terminal 5 is a three-level general-admission venue in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, with an approximate capacity of 3,000. There is generally no traditional reserved seating: the ground-floor area puts fans closest to the stage, while the second- and third-floor balconies offer elevated views across the performance space.
For a close-up, high-energy experience, the main floor is the most direct choice, though it can become crowded. The balconies are a useful alternative for fans seeking more room and a broad view; limited rail-side chairs may be available, but they are scarce. Arriving early can help secure a preferred position, particularly for popular shows.
Parking Information
Terminal 5 does not have its own parking lot. Nearby garages are available, but event-night prices and availability can vary; booking ahead is a practical option. Street parking in Midtown West is limited, and public transit is worth considering, with the 59th Street–Columbus Circle subway station about a 10-minute walk away.
- West 57th Street Garage LLC, 601 W. 57th St, New York, NY 10019: approximately 0.2 miles away, with listed rates starting at $16 for two hours. Check parking availability.
- BMW Building Garage (SP+), 838 11th Ave, New York, NY 10019: approximately 0.11 miles away, with event parking listed at $20–$30. Check garage information.
Garage rates are estimates and may change by date, duration and availability. Nearby facilities can fill quickly before a show, so allow extra time if driving.
Suicidal Tendencies Uniondale reviews
Great Venue
GREAT a was Raymond James Stadium to watch a game at. The weather was great 80 degrees to watch a December game. The stadium is very fan friendly and easy to get around. Parking was easy and very plentiful. There were plenty of concession lines that moved very quickly. The people that worked at the stadium and security were very friendly and helpful. Again it must be that great December weather. We are from upstate NY and it is very cold and snowy for us in December. The fans were even friendly and we did not see anyone that had really drank too much which is unusual for a football game.
